MDR update of medical device guidelines
In recent years the Medical Device directive (MDD) 93/42/EC and the Active Implantable Medical Device Drective (AIMDD) 90/385/EEC have been replaced by the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) 2017/745/EU. EDM Forum's medical guidelines EDM-P-202, EDM-D-202, and EDM-Q-202 have been updated to be in line with the new Medical Device Regulation.
